Free Webinar – Hazmat Regulation Webinars hosted by PHMSA

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration invites you to participate in free webinars that are specialized to meet the needs of the hazmat industry and the public safety community. These webinars provide a basic overview of the regulatory requirements – what they are, how they apply, and how to comply with them – for shipping and transporting hazardous materials.

Lastly, we will discuss how long records must be retained.

Packaging Requirements

We will explore your responsibilities as the shipper, and include package identification based on commodity, non-bulk packing vs. bulk packing, and how to use the Hazardous Materials Table to help you figure out everything you need to know to move that package in the transportation system. All of this will be done using the 49 CFR through a guided tour, complete with Question & Answer opportunities, while giving you resources that you can use for years to come.

How to Properly Placard Your Transport Vehicle
